changing my mind set and how we came to it.

so now I have this whole game plan well in action I have forgot about one important thing.......

I am going to have to change my mind set of what animals are on the farm and what they mean to the family?. no longer can I just have pets everything thing on this farm will have to be more than that they have to be a means for our family to function.

project 1- fencing

so now we have in the past have housed many rescue dogs here at our home and when doing so I had set up for them a large play area about 2 acres. now we are down to just our dogs some old guys some young guys and gals I have no need for such a large area. I do however need to have room for the new projects we have planned here at our home.

so what is this? and who am I?

So I guess the first post on this blog would be to start at the beginning of this adventure. Although the thought crossed my mind many times over I never thought I would ever be in a place to do a year long or even month long adventure in be self sufficient. I want to add quite early on that with this blog I am as sparatic in my writing as my thinking so it may take a bit to get used to jumping from topic to topic....or it may be entertaining as heck :-)
