Projects we want to accomplish over the next year here at the farm
we are doing this to help us be more reliant on ourselves and try and bring some of the organic qualities into our lives
we are going to use only materials that need to be reused and try and cut costs downa nd see as a study how much a person can do and make on a a small budget. of course it will have to be not a heap of junk either.
so we plan to go as organic and natural as we can in all our building materials and most things and again be watching the budget for things
build a chicken coop raise chickens for eggs and food( DONE)build a sheep pasture, for meat for sale (DONE)- build a winter green house
- build a straw barn
- build animal shelters
- can vegetables and fruits and jams (started)
- grow a winter garden indoors
- prepare the dog sled team for long journeys and for packing hunting and carting
make a incubator for eggs (DONE)- go help bale hay for the animals to reduce the cost per bale
- get straw for barn/ and dog house and chicken coop
- move pallets for the storage for hay
harrow the sheep pasture plant more grass (DONE)- build solar power for the barn and winter green house
move more chain link panels for the chickens (done)
